- Ensure efficient and high-quality design work and deliver all tasks on schedule.
- Follow R&D management rules and design specifications for all development work.
- Assist the sales team in reviewing technical documents and compiling problem lists and feasibility analysis reports.
- Complete product technical solutions, conceptual designs, BOM and technical specifications.
- Conduct DFMEA analysis, product verification and testing, and develop prototype trial-production plans.
- Finish 3D structural design and 2D drawings proficiently using Creo.
- Perform tolerance chain analysis and deliver relevant calculation reports.
- Communicate and cooperate with suppliers to solve manufacturing process technical issues.
- Responsible for product outer packaging structure, jigs and fixture design.
- Provide on-site technical support for production lines as required by projects.
- Complete other R&D tasks assigned by the team leader.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design or related fields with at least 2 years of electronic product structural design experience.
- Experienced in plastic product design, familiar with mold and tooling structure. Injection mold design experience is preferred.
- Familiar with DFx design concepts, statistical tolerance analysis and GD&T dimensioning standards.
- Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills to support project delivery.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new design technologies and methods.
- Proficient in Creo and SolidWorks 3D design software.
- CAE analysis capability is preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with cost evaluation processes is preferred.
